The Many (Sandy) Faces of Kate on the Beach

Kate is 1. And is a really gross age to take to the beach. She isn't old enough to care that most of her diet for the week is made up of sand. She isn't old enough to care that she has sand in her butt. She isn't old enough to care that sand is covering most of her face. She isn't old enough to care that I don't really want to hold all of that in my lap. And yet... She shared "her" sand with all of us. But- I will say- behind and through all that sand is one beautiful little girl who kept us all laughing all week long.
