Whew. We made it. Summer is here. Thank the heavens. I LOVE summer. Always have and I think I always will. I love it when my kids are home- I miss them when they go to school!! I like going and doing things together!
So we signed up for swimming lessons... ALL THREE! It was a weird moment for me when I put all of them in the pool with their teachers... There was no one to sit and watch in the kiddie pool. Nobody wanted snacks and nobody had to go to the bathroom. It was a little unnerving.
Kate and Ryan were in the same class this year- just the two of them. No tears from Ryan this year and Kate was the first one in the pool.
Ty's getting pretty good. He can swim half the length of the pool before his butt weight gets the best of him and he starts to sink- but I think that's fixable. His teacher is trying to teach him to breathe as he brings his arm around... it's pretty cool to watch.
Ty was really lucky this year- two of his best friends signed up for lessons with him. The three of them are in their own class and just yuck it up the whole time. I love it!!

What a gorgeous pool! I want to take swimming lessons :) I totally can relate (in my imagination) about it being unnerving when you realize that none of your kids needs anything... I am not there yet, but I can see it coming. So glad there were no tears this year!
