My kids love dinner time. Not just for the food- which they admit is pretty good (not that I coach them or anything), but because they think they get to "help." I try to keep a few things for each of them to do when it comes time for dinner- though all of us moms know how much quicker and easier it is when nobody helps- and they just light up.
I have aprons for each of them, and each day about 4:30 when I start banging the pots around in the kitchen, they make a beeline for the front closet and pull them out. They were so cute the other day that we had to snap a picture!
