I have a new definition for TLC- no longer does it stand for Tender Loving Care... In my home it stands for Toddler Loving Care which, while cute, is something you almost have to watch for constantly. Ty loves his little brother and is always looking for ways to "help." He wants to feed Ryan, he wants to burp him and he is the first one to reach for Ryan's hand whenever he can. I caught Ty in Ryan's room the other morning. I had set Ryan in his Boppy in his crib so that I could dry my hair and when I came back into his room- Ty had found him and was reaching for his hand (I know it's not a very good picture because of the window behind them- the sun was still on its way up so it was really shining brightly through the window). I am so grateful that Ty loves his little brother the way that he does. I hope that as they get older they continue to be good friends. Being one of three kids in my family- I know that siblings can totally drive you nuts (both when you're growing up and now), but I also know that you can be such great friends as well.

When Allie was born our pediatrican told me that a sibling was the best thing we could give Megan. He also told us that Megan was Allie's biggest danger. Oh how true that still is. Except now Allie is Megans biggest danger. It is so wonderful to have siblings and I love when they help each other. My girls smoother Rebecca whenever she is on the floor. It drives me crazy!! They are gentle but always right in her face. It could be worse I guess right?? Oh....the trouble your two are going to get into together! Ty and Ryan....destruction everywhere.
Oh Jess you have 2 of the sweetest boys in the whole world! Ty is so cute I love hearing about how much he loves Ryan....so cute. The weather is getting a little bit colder but today was really nice like upper 70s so I can't complain. I guess when winter comes though we will just have to compare temps...oh man i am scared for it!
gotta love 2 year olds...I forgot to tell you that we drove through Montpelier earlier this summer...on tour busses full of teenagers. I thought of you as we passed through.
I love that he loves him so much. Drew is all over Aiden as well, makes you a little nervous, but it is also just darling how they all get along isn't it? It was good to see you the other day, he is truly darling. I have got to get your mom to send us the picture of all of the kids together on the couch :)
That is so darling. What a good older brother.
